What we are doing
In response to the devastating crisis in Ukraine, our church is partnering with local churches of Ukraine to provide food, shelter and hygiene products to the helpless women, children and families who have fled from their homes due to the crisis.
Your help today will provide
- Humanitarian aid, including food, water, and hygiene kits to those vulnerable in Ukraine.
- As hundreds of thousands of people have left their homes looking for safety, we are providing shelter and food in the western region of Ukraine.
- We are mobilizing a team from the local region to assess where help is most needed, provide emergency cash assistance, and further support local organizations that know their community needs best.
- With your help, we have already shipped off first-aid medical supplies to Ukraine.
Why we are getting involved
In the 90’s, many of our families fled from the fallen hands of the Soviet Union and formed a strong community in the Portland and Vancouver area.
We are blessed beyond what we deserve here.
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have come together and are actively engaged in providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainians displaced by the warfare crisis. These are our parents, our brothers and sisters, our neighbors and friends that are living with fear of what will come tomorrow.
